Transfer from Kampala to Kibale

Pickup from your hotel by our English speaking guide. Drive to Fort Portal in Western Uganda. The drive takes about 4 hours before reaching one of Uganda’s most beautiful towns. Have Lunch in Fort Portal. Continue to Kibale Forest where you will do the chimpanzee trekking activities. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, relax, have dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest and transfer to Bwindi

Be up for an early morning breakfast and head to the park rangers office for briefing. The briefing is done at 7am before the trekking experience, during the briefing, you will be briefed on the dos and donts of chimpanzee trekking. After which you get into the forest to start on the trekking experience. Once you locate a chimpanzee family, you will spend upto an hour in their presence. After trekking, go back to the lodge for lunch, relax and transfer to Bwindi.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the ranger post! Get briefed about gorilla tracking in Bwindi and get to know what to expect on the trek. Go for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The gorilla trek is one of the most interesting wildlife safari experiences you can enjoy in Africa. The time taken on the trek is unpredictable! It can take just a few minutes to reach the families or a full day hike into the forest. Based on our experience, most gorilla treks will be done by 1.00PM. After the gorilla trek, return to your lodge.

This marks the end of your safari with Vibrant Holiday Safaris. After an early morning breakfast, our driver guide will pick you and transfer you back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
