Travel north along the Atlantic Coast, passing tall white dunes and lagoons into the West Coast National Park and Langebaan The park is well-known for its avian life, a flamingo population lives in the salt marshes, while African penguins, oystercatchers and cape gannets breed here. Every year in spring, witness a spectacular phenomenon, the transformation of this evocative semi-arid landscape into a wonderland with fields of diverse multi-colored wildflowers.
Continue to Elands Bay, a spectacular village on the rugged West Coast, famous for its surf break and crayfish netting. Walk to Elands Bay Cave at the foot of Baboon Point. The magnificent rock art, particularly drawings of the eland, gave the area its name. Walk on the white sandy beach watching the sunset over the ocean (whale spotting in season).
Barbeque the South African way! Crayfish for dinner in season!

Visit the Elands Bay museum for an informative intro before a short hike to Diepkloof Cave, SA's newest UNESCO site. The exceptional preservation of this site amid the challenges of climate change and rising sea levels stand as testament to our ancestors' resilience, ingenuity and adaptation to environmental changes.
Depart for Lamberts Bay, the seafood hot spot on the West Coast! Visit Bird Island which offers visitors a rare opportunity to see the blue-eyed Cape gannet up close, dolphins, whales and the ever-entertaining seals at the internationally acclaimed natural heritage site.
The sea bed hosts high quality alluvial diamonds which are suctioned/mined from the sea bed.

Hike the extraordinary Sevilla Art Trail, for its ancient San paintings, unique flora (Fynbos) and fauna. Perhaps a sighting of the elusive Cape Leopard (2.5 hours).
Finally we continue to the heart of the Cederberg for a good nights rest.

Cederberg Trails, Rock Formations, Bushmen Paintings, Wine Tasting & Blouberg Sunset
After breakfast drive to the Cederberg Wilderness & visit well-preserved cave paintings left by the Bushmen centuries ago. (1.5 hour hike). Some of the best African rock art is found here!
Other hikes are available, like the stunning Maltese Cross trail (3.5 to 4 hours).
Wine tasting at a local wine estate.
Final destination is Blouberg for a postcard view of Table Bay, Robben Island and Table Mountain. We can enjoy a sunset dinner here at a local restaurant with superb local cuisine.
Arrive back in Cape Town around 20:00.
