Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Begin your Kilimanjaro ascent at the Marangu Gate, where you will meet your experienced guides and porters. Trek through lush rainforests, encountering unique flora and fauna along the way, and reach the Mandara Hut. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and spend the night in comfortable mountain huts.

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Continue your ascent, leaving the rainforest behind and entering the heather and moorland zone. Pass by stunning valleys, volcanic formations, and diverse ecosystems as you make your way to the Horombo Hut. Take in the incredible panoramas and rest for the night.

Horombo Hut to Kibo hut then Uhuru peak

Resume your trek towards Kibo Hut, traversing the alpine desert terrain. As you ascend, the landscape becomes more rugged and barren, providing a stark yet captivating backdrop. Upon reaching Kibo Hut near the majestic Kibo crater, you will rest and prepare for the final ascent. After arriving at the camp, you'll relax until midnight, when you’ll begin your unforgettable trek to the summit. The climb will take approximately 7 to 8 hours, starting at midnight.

Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

"Early in the morning, the sun will rise over the top of Africa. If you're lucky, you'll witness this magical moment as the sun rises, capturing exciting, lifelong memories at the summit. After reaching the top, you'll have 5 to 15 minutes to take photos before starting your descent to the camp for a short rest. Following lunch, you'll continue descending to a lower altitude at Horombo Hut. Congratulations on reaching the top of Africa!

Horombo Hut to Arusha

After breakfast, you will begin your descent to the gate early in the morning. Once you arrive, you will say goodbye to your mountain crew before getting into your van for the transfer to Arusha, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, It will take 2 to 3 hours.

Maasai Village Cultural Experience
