Upon arrival in Ethiopia, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and be transferred to your hotel to take a rest or you will start the tour right away.
You will have a full-day city tour of Addis Ababa. You'll visit the Holy Trinity, royal tombs, and places associated with Haile Selassie such as the Lion of Judah monument. You will pass the Menelik Imperial Palace. The National Museum features archaeological exhibits as well as items associated with Haile Selassie. Mount Entoto offers a panoramic view of the city. You'll visit the lively Merkato area, one of Africa's most sprawling and interesting markets.

Transfer to Airport | Fly to Bahir Dar | Transfer to Blue Nile Falls | Boat Cruise on Lake Tana
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Bahir Dar. On arrival, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will transfer you to Tissisat Falls (Blue Nile Falls), followed
by a 30-minute walk from the road to the falls. Here, the Blue Nile starts its journey to the Mediterranean.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat trip on Lake Tana to view the magnificently preserved Island Monasteries of the 13th century. The trip includes a visit to the ancient church and treasury of Ura Kidane Mehret at Zeghie Peninsula and Azua Mariam on the island.

Travel to Gondar
After having breakfast, you will be driven to Gondar and check into your hotel on arrival. Gondar was Ethiopia's royal capital until 1868. Its location at the intersection of several caravan routes made it the perfect location for a capital city. Gondar was the home of the Falasha, the “Black Jews" of Ethiopia, most of whom left for Israel in 1991.
Founded by Emperor Fassilides in 1632, Gondar has been called the Camelot of Africa because of its castles and churches. It is not known for sure who built the castles but many surmise they were the work of Portuguese craftsmen. The day will be spent touring the fascinating sights for which Gondar is famous; Gondar castle compound, Bath of King Fasil, and Trinity cathedral for the mural paintings.

Transfer to Simien Mountains National Park | Walking Safari
After breakfast, you will be driven about 100 km north to Debark at the edge of the Simien Mountains National Park, and once home to the Felashas, the Ethiopian Jews. You'll go on to an overnight stay at an Eco-lodge near Buyit Ras, further along gravel roads.
The Simien Mountains National Park of Northern Ethiopia is a World Heritage Site. The scenery along the escarpment is breathtaking and for those with the stamina for a moderate walk of about 2 hours, there will be an opportunity to get an appreciation of the beauty of this wilderness that attracts trekkers from all over the world.
The wildlife of the region includes ibex, foxes, vultures, and baboons. If you are fortunate, you will encounter groups of Gelada Baboons sitting or foraging in grasslands. The males are distinguished by a bright red patch of skin
on the chest that serves for sexual display.

Travel to Lalibela
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lalibela, stopping at Awramba village after Wereta; a famous working community whose religion is hard work. Via the Jeju Wedeladelanta plateau highland, you'll pass by villages and markets places close to Erobe Gebeya's “Wednesday market”.
You'll have your lunch break in the town of Debere Tabor or you may carry a lunch box from Gondor. You'll descend to Lalibela which is in the Ethiopian Christian tradition called the new Jerusalem. Lalibela, a legendary, on a high plateau (2630 m) situated place, surrounded by rugged mountains, which is in the Ethiopian Christian.
On arrival, you'll check into your hotel and relax.
Lalibela is celebrated throughout the world for its incredible churches hewn from the rock as an expression of religious faith. The town is named after the Emperor /saint Lalibela (1181-1221) who is credited with the creation of this type of church.

Tour Lalibela | Visit the First Group Of Churches | Visit the Second Group Of Churches
After breakfast, you will visit the most accessible first group of churches in the north-western part of Lalibela. The temple-like Bet Medhane Alem with barrel-vaulted nave and side aisles, a small church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and other chapels all reached through tunnels like Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Micheal. You'll end with a visit to the cross-shaped Bet Ghiorgis in all its pleasing symmetry and simplicity.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the second group of churches in Lalibela. You'll explore churches that have their own distinctive and memorable features. A visit to Bet Merkurios requires a trip through a dark tunnel, but Bet Amanuel and Bet Abba Libanos are more easily accessed.

Tour Arba Minch
After having breakfast, you'll start your tour of Arbaminch. You'll enjoy a morning visit to Nechsar Park for gazelles, and zebras and at Chencha.
You'll love seeing beautiful village huts especially the 12 m height bamboo Tukul and their way of making Shema, white dress, and other colorful thread dresses. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see hippos and crocodiles.

Travel to Jinka | Visit Tsemay and Bena tribes | Visit the Ari Village and Museum
You will start your day with breakfast and then be driven to Jinka. On the way, you will make a stopover and visit the Tsemay and Bena tribes at Keyafer. You will have lunch on the way and then proceed to Jinka. On arrival, you will visit the Ari village and Museum.

Drive to Mago Park | Travel | Travel to Omorate | Visit the Dasenech People
After breakfast, you will be driven to Mago Park early in the morning. You will see some wildlife and Mursi people in their villages. After, you will be driven back to Jinka for lunch.
After lunch, you will leave for Turmi and then drive to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people who are living on the banks of river Omo, where they cross the river using a tree trunk to go to the west coast where the majority of the tribe live. Late afternoon, you will explore the villages of the Hammer around Turmi.

Visit the Karo Villages
After breakfast, you will drive to Karo villages, the Karo wear an elaborate hairstyle sculpted in Chignon of dried mud adorned with Ostrich feathers. They always carry a wooden pillow to protect their hairstyle when they
sleep. In the afternoon, you will attend the Hammer market either on Turmi on Monday or Dimeka on Saturday.

Travel to Konso Villages

Travel to Awasa | Cultural Interaction
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Awassa. On your way, you will visit Welaita sodo, different markets, and huts of the Oromo tribes. This town is one of the best places to visit for culture tourism and while you you interact and engage with the locals. You will be entertained by the locals when performing their cultural dance.

Visit The Morning Fish Market | Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast, you will visit the morning fish market at Awassa and depart to Addis Ababa on your
way, visiting the north Rift Valley lakes Langano, and Ziway lakes for more bird-watching.
In Addis, you will have a last-minute shopping.
You'll have a farewell dinner at a cultural restaurant enjoying at the same time live music from the different tribes of Ethiopia.
Later, you will transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
