Day 1

Our representative will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast or at the airport at 7:00 a.m. You will drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping at the escarpment viewpoint point en route to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Jambo Mara Safari Camp.
Masai Mara is world famous for the annual great wildebeest migration that takes place in July and August where close to a million wildebeest close to the Mara River in search of pasture. From 4:00 pm– 6:30 pm, you will enjoy your first evening game drive. Our guide will take you through the reserve where you will be surprised by the high concentration of wild animals in this reserve. Here, herds of elephants roam freely, wildebeests, buffalos, impalas, Thomson’s gazelles, and zebras graze in their numbers. Big cats are not hard to spot either including the elusive leopards. It is one of the few places you are guaranteed to spot the famous Big Five on a single morning or afternoon.

Day 2

You'll wake up for an early morning game drive to witness the Big Five animals as they are always active when the temperature is low. You'll head back to your camp for your late breakfast and relax before you head back for another game drive. You will carry a packed lunch as you embark on your second game drive. Famous for the great migration, the park is the only protected area with an indigenous population of the endangered black rhinos. All members of the Big Five reside here all year round. African wild dogs are rare due to the stiff competition from the honchos of the jungle, the golden lions, who often decimate their populations. You will explore the park, also you can have optional activities like visiting Masai village to learn about their culture or a balloon safari at an extra cost. You'll head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru National Park

After a morning game drive and breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and drive to Lake Nakuru. You will arrive in time for lunch a Sarova Woodlands. After lunch, you will enjoy a game drive to see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the birdlife for which Nakuru is so well known, there are many different wildlife species in the park including lions, leopards, black rhinos, white rhinos, buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, impalas, and waterbucks. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sarova Woodlands.
