You will be picked up and welcomed by a representative in the morning at your hotel or the international airport. He will pre-brief and assist you, then transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara which departs in the early morning. Upon landing on the airstrip, you will be picked up by your driver and proceed to the lodge with a game drive en route. After lunch, you will set out for the afternoon game drive. You will stay overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp.

You have 2 full days to explore the park in search of the Big Five, with the possibility of seeing the annual wildebeest migration that takes place from July to October. An optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US $450. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe—over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah—lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas and vultures. Your stay includes accommodation, 3 meals daily, soft drinks, house wines and refreshments on game drives, laundry, twice-daily game drives, night drives, nature walks and bush dining.

Day 4

You will go on an early morning game drive and later return for breakfast at the lodge. You will check out and then proceed to the airstrip with a game-viewing drive on the way. Upon landing in Nairobi, you will have your lunch before catching another flight to Diani Beach via Ukunda Airstrip. You will arrive late in the afternoon, check in to your hotel and you may have an evening stroll along the beach for an evening breeze.

Day 5-6

You’ll spend your days exploring the 25-kilometre strip of coastline around Diani Beach, where powdery white sands sit between the crystal waters of the Indian Ocean and the lush forests of the Shimba Hills National Reserve.

After a week of safari adventure, you may wish to relax and soak up the sun, or if you want to get active there are plenty of things to do. You can go snorkelling or diving in the stunning coral reefs, try kite surfing, take a boat excursion to Kisite Mpunguti National Marine Park to spot dolphins or visit Shimba Hills National Reserve. You can also see the remarkable Fort Jesus on Mombasa Island, and visit the Diani Beach Art Gallery or Akamba Handicrafts Cooperative, where you can buy traditional wood carvings and ornaments.

Sadly, your Kenyan luxury tour has come to an end. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your 1-hour flight back to Wilson Airport. From Wilson Airport you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in time for your onward journey home.
