4-Day Tsavo West/Amboseli/Tsavo East Safari from Mombasa

Mombasa - Tsavo West National Park

You will be picked up early from your beach resort or Moi Airport and depart for Tsavo West to arrive for check-in and lunch. The park is set with gently rolling plains, the picturesque Taita Hills and lava flows all in a plateau dotted with acacia, scrub and bushland. It is home to a variety of wildlife including the famed Tsavo elephants and lions. Have a short rest and depart for an afternoon game drive from 3 pm until sunset, and if time allows, also visit Mzima Springs. Thereafter, return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight are at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

You will have an early morning game drive and return to your lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, drive to Amboseli National Park through the Shetani lava flow to arrive in time for lunch. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which is the second-largest mountain in the world. It dominates the landscape and open plains. After a brief rest, head out for an afternoon game drive from 3 pm until sunset when you will return to your lodge. You will have lunch, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Amboseli - Tsavo East National Park

After an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, you will check out and proceed to Tsavo East to arrive in time for check-in and lunch. The sight of dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling, and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300-kilometer-long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, makes for an adventure unlike any other in Tsavo East. In the afternoon, have another exciting game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
