Arrival In Ethiopia | Hotel Transfer | City Tour

On arrival in Ethiopia, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa and be transferred to your hotel, check in and have your lunch.

Later that evening you will do a city tour and visit the National Museum, Grand open market Merkato and also drive on the main tourist route of the city.

Fly To Semera Airport | Transfer To Denakil Depression | Base At Dodom

After breakfast, you will head to the airport and fly to Semera where you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide at Semera Airport and be driven to the Denakil depression passing several small hamlets in the sandy desert.

Dodom is our first base to start our ascent to Erta Ale volcano which is 9.5 km that consume 1 hrs or so trekking. We use camels to transport camping staff and food to the rim of the volcano where we will spend the night enjoying the magical scene of the boiling molten lava.

Visit Erta Ale - Hamadela – Dallol

Upon waking up, we will return to Dodom for breakfast and drive to Hamadela settlement of the Afar people where the population size varies based on seasonality and salt mining period.

Here in Dallol you will be mesmerized by the colorful geyser fields and the colorful patterns of the sulfur pools. The shallow salt lake Assale and salt mining in Asabelo, the sunset in the evening, Camel caravan are the activity you immerse yourself for a visit.

Dinner and overnight is basic Camping at Hamedella.

Drive To Lake Afdera

After having breakfast early in the morning, we will drive to Lake Afrera (a salt lake that is located in the heart of Danakil Depressions and in this lake you may a chance of the natural hot springs then later you had swimming around this lake. Lake Afrera is the worlds most salty lake and home to many bird species.

Transfer To Airport | Fly To Addis Ababa | City Tour

After having breakfast transfer to the Airport for your return flight back to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and go for lunch.

In the later afternoon or evening, you will go for a city tour at the Panoramic view of the city from Mount Entoto and visit St. George Cathedral with its museum.

Fly To Lalibela | Transfer To Hotel | Visit The First Group Of Churches

After breakfast, you will board the early morning flight to Lalibela and on arrival you will check into your hotel.

At the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th centuries, King Lalibela organized the construction of a series of rock hewn churches which are now One of the wonders of the world. Lalibella contains 11 monolithic churches that were built in the 12th century and are carved out of the pink granite rock.

Your visit will take your to the first group of churches in the morning that is Bet Medehanialem, Bet Maryam, Bet Michael & Gologota and finish on the most famous cross shaped church Bet Giorgis with sun set.

Final Day | Visit The Second Group Of Churches | Fly To Addis Ababa | Cultural Dinner | Fly Home

In the morning after having breakfast we go to visit the second group of churches in the town that includes Bete Gebriel, Bete Mercorios, Bete Amanuel, Bethlehem and Bete Aba Libanos you will take a flight from Lalibela to Addis Ababa. In the afternoon, you will have time for shopping souvenirs and the best coffee Arabica.

Finally, the tour ends with dinner at a cultural restaurant in Addis Ababa, where you can enjoy local dishes and watch live energetic traditional musical dances from the different regions.
