This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Masai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture.
