Upon arrival into the country, you will be recieved by a Kange Safaris representative. You will then drive to Victoria Mall for a hot cup of coffee. Thereafter, set off for Kampala. You will visit the Lubiri Palace, and understand the culture of the Baganda, which takes up the greater part of the central region in Uganda. You will connect with the historical milestones that paved the way for Uganda’s independence, providing a deeper understanding of the nation’s cultural identity and resilience.

Next you will visit the Ghadaffi Mosque, the biggest mosque in East Africa built by the late former president of Libya Muammar Gaddafi. You will climb to the Minaret to get the best panoramic view of Kampala. You will have a taste of Ugandan cuisine at 2K restaurant.

Finally, you will drive through Kampala city, identifying the major establishments like the Cathedrals, Makerere University and Banks. This day tour will give you a true representation of the life of a typical Ugandan.

Depart from your Hotel early morning to start on this adventurous drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda.
The drive is long but equally rewarding as you will go past many small towns, villages, farms, and stunning views of the changing countryside. You will also have several stopovers along the way for photography, lunch and snacks.

You will reach Bwindi in the evening to check in at your lodge where they will be expecting you. You will have some time in the evening to relax from the long drive and prepare for your gorilla-tracking experience the next day.

Day 3

A thrilling encounter with the Gentle Giants then a drive to Lake Bunyonyi

On this day, you will wake up very early for your breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters where you will attend a briefing about your gorilla tracking activity.

You will join the other visitors in a group of 8 and head into the misty forest searching for gorillas. The gorilla trek takes you through the steep slopes and thick vegetation of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and it can last from 1 hour to 6 hours depending on where you find these gentle giants.

Once you reach the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them and get to see them interact with each other, groom, eat and play around. You will return to the starting point and receive your gorilla tracking certificate.

After the exhilarating gorilla trek, drive to find serenity at the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi, where you will spend your night.

Day 4

Enjoy your breakfast, then go for a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi, where you will enjoy the beautiful nature views, relax in the peaceful surroundings, discover its 29 enchanting islands, listening to the mythical stories behind some of them. It's a delightful and calming experience!

Thereafter, return to the lodge for some leisure and lunch.

After lunch, you will embark on a drive that will see you move from the Kigezi highlands to the plains and cattle farms of Ankole, passing many small towns where the stunning views of the countryside will make time pass quickly.
You will arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in and relax.

After an early breakfast, head out for a wildlife game drive to see more of the park's animals. The game drive provides excellent opportunities to see zebras, which make this park so popular, giraffes, antelopes, elands, Uganda kobs, buffalos, warthogs and many other animals that live in the park.

After the game drive, we shall leave Lake Mburo and drive towards Kampala. We shall stop at the equator crossing in Kayabwe. Here, you will have some water experiments that explain some physics. Imagine standing with one leg in the northern hemisphere and the other in the southern hemisphere. Also have some classic photo moments, lunch and souvenir shopping.

You will then continue your drive through Kampala to Entebbe to your accommodation or the airport to catch your flight out of Uganda.
