Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

In the morning after breakfast, you'll get in a 4x4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle ready for a safari to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park has the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire comprises of herds of up to 300 elephants that scratch the dry river bed for underground streams. There are also migratory wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands. You'll have your lunch at one of the picnic sites. You will continue your afternoon game viewing in the park till late, It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. It's a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. After a whole day game drive, you will be transferred to your booked lodge in the evening for dinner, a warm shower, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

An early start today to avoid any delays we will start heading to Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast. You will be in awe of the surrounding magnificence as soon as you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Even more so when you reach the crater's edge and enjoy the breathtaking vista of one of the world's natural wonders. This dormant volcano's crater is about three million years old, 20 square kilometers in area, and the largest continuous volcanic caldera in the world. The crater's incredible fauna can be attributed to its natural boundaries. The crater is where the Big Five live and provides a fantastic opportunity to see the endangered black rhino, hyena, zebra, buffalo, and elephants. At the end of the afternoon, you go to Marera Valley for a well-deserved dinner and night stay.

Day 3

Lake manyara to Arusha

Today is the "day of the lions" after a restful night's sleep. Before leaving, eat an early breakfast. You will then be taken to Lake Manyara National Park. At its largest, the lake occupies 200 square kilometers of the park's 330 square kilometers. A wonderful variety of herd animals and birdlife may be seen in Lake Manyara, from a sea of pink flamingos as far as the eye can see to bull elephants up close. The tree-climbing lions are one of the park's most unique features. We have our lunch at one of the picnic sites then Midway in the afternoon after touring this park and its groundwater forest, you'll start the drive back to Arusha.
