Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, you'll board a 4x4 Land Cruiser for an exciting safari into Tarangire National Park, famed for its high elephant population. Herds of up to 300 elephants gather in the dry season, scraping riverbeds for hidden streams. Beyond elephants, Tarangire hosts migratory wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands. Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site before continuing an afternoon game drive amidst Tanzania's greatest wildlife concentration outside the Serengeti. Here, predators thrive, and unique antelope like the fringe-eared oryx and long-necked gerenuk are often spotted. After a full day of game viewing, you’ll head to your lodge for a relaxing evening with dinner, a warm shower, and a comfortable overnight stay.
