After an early breakfast, one of our guides will collect you from your accommodation in Kampala by 8:00am and drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a few stops at the Equator to take some photographs and enjoy lunch at the Agip Motel in Mbarara. From there, you will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you marvel at the breathtaking scenery—tea plantations, open grasslands, long-horned Ankole-Watusi cattle, woodlands, and the Rift Valley escarpment. Have a game drive in the evening as you drive to your accommodation.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a cup of tea or coffee before embarking on a game drive along the Queen’s Mile and the Kasenyi trail. On this trail, you will see elephants, waterbuck, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and several birds. Return for breakfast plus lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where you will encounter buffaloes, elephants, hippos, kobs, plus warthogs, among others. This ride will also enable you to see an array of birds.

Chimpanzee Trekking at Kyambura Gorge and Transfer to Kampala
With wonderful memories of the previous day, you will have a hearty breakfast as you prepare for the chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge to meet the closest human relatives. From here, the transfer to Entebbe starts with lunch en route. A visit to the Igongo Cultural Village is an experience that shouldn’t be missed.
