Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha), an Imani Excursions representative will meet you and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. You will stay overnight in a luxury hotel while waiting for the safari adventure to start the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at around 7:30 am at your accommodation in Arusha (or according to your preferred time), you will drive straight to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. Tarangire National Park is famous for its giant African elephants, huge baobab trees, and the mini-wildlife migration of more than 250,000 animals. It is one of the largest parks with an area of more than 2,600km².

You will also see many other different animal species such as impala, eland, giraffe, buffalo, Thomson’s gazelle, and gerenuk. You will also encounter wildebeests and zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, which seem prevalent in the southern open areas. We will serve you a hot picnic lunch at around midday.

In the evening, you will drive straight to your lodge for refreshments, a well-prepared dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at around 8:00 am, you will drive straight to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing point. After that, you will descend into the 600m-deep crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the world's most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai community. On reaching the crater's edge, the 20km-diameter caldera opens up before you in all its glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinos.

We will serve you a hot lunch near the hippo pool at a picnic site. After lunch, we will drive you to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

After an early breakfast at around 8:00 am (or according to your preference), you will continue exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park on a half-day game drive.

The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. The park offers a multitude of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). We will serve you a hot lunch inside the park at around 12:30 pm with soft drinks and unlimited drinking water. You will have a final game drive in the afternoon. At around 3:00 pm, you will drive straight to the gate and head for your accommodation in Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha Airport to Zanzibar

Have an early breakfast at the lodge, and then drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is the home of tree-climbing lions and a birder's paradise. Some bird species in this area include great white pelicans, yellow-billed storks, smaller numbers of marabou storks, grey herons, palm-nut vultures, hawks, and many more. Many animals can also be spotted inside Lake Manyara National Park like elephants, wildebeests, zebras, Thomson's gazelles, and Grant's gazelles.

The predators of Lake Manyara National Park include lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals. We will serve you lunch at a picnic site, and after further exploration of the park, you will drive straight to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar on the Northern coast known as Nungwi.

Nungwi is located on the northern tip of Zanzibar, with white sand and clear turquoise water where you can relax and enjoy your stay. You can stay at the hotel or swim in the ocean. If you would like to do different activities such as snorkeling, a dolphin tour, safari blue, or diving, we can arrange that for you, or you can arrange it at the hotel. You will spend a total of 4 nights in Nungwi.

The changes of the tides in Nungwi are different than in other parts (Nungwi is calm).
