3-Day Kibale Breathtaking Chimpanzee Tour

Arrival in Uganda | Kibale National Park | Visit Bigodi Swamp

Upon your arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to Kibale National Park.

On arrival, you will check in at your lodge. Later in the evening, you will go to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

It is a fascinating area located in the Magombe swamp. This area is recognized for an extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primate species like the red Colobus monkey, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red-tailed monkey, and the L’Hoest monkey. Additional mammals include sitatunga, mongooses, bush pigs, otters plus bushbucks.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Camp (camping).

Chimpanzee Tracking | Birding | Relaxation

After an early breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters with your guide and a packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don'ts of chimpanzee trekking. After this, you will embark on the trekking. This will take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of these amazing creatures.

You'll enjoy the rich forest biodiversity of the park and be sure to see several bird species as you are trekking. The opportunity to see chimpanzees in the wild is one of the most memorable of all safari activities. Getting close to these creatures that share so much of our DNA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the excitement of walking through the forest and knowing that they are close will stay with you forever.

After trekking, you will head back to your lodge and relax.

Equator Stopover | Transfer to Airport| Flight Back Home

After your breakfast, you will be driven to Entebbe. On your way, you will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch in Masaka. See where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Snacks, souvenirs, and photographs may be taken here.

After lunch, you will be driven to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.

Much as we'd like your tour with us to last forever, sadly, today marks the end of your safari. Having shared so many wonderful experiences, it's time to say goodbye and look back together on an amazing safari. We hope that you'll come back to travel with us again one day.
