4-Day Kruger Park Tented Camp Safari – Nkambeni

Johannesburg to Kruger

This Kruger budget safari departs daily from Johannesburg. Pick-up is between 7:30 am and 8 am from your hotel or the O.R Tambo Airport.

You travel east passing picturesque landscapes and farmlands en route to your lodge near the Kruger. There are two 15-minute comfort stops en route where you can buy snacks and refreshments. The estimated time of arrival in the Kruger National Park is around 1 pm.

After check-in, you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting 2 to 2.5-hour late afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park. Return to the lodge where you can unwind, have drinks and relax before dinner and overnight.

Full-day game drive in Kruger

This morning you will enjoy coffee or tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open-sided Land Cruisers.

The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants (own account). After lunch, we will start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park.

During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After your drive, you'll make your way back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Panorama Route

Today you will go on a tour of the Panorama Route. You depart on this 8-hour scenic excursion after a scrumptious, full-course breakfast.

Scenic stops along the Panorama Route include:
- God’s Window
- The Pinnacle
- Bourke’s Luck Potholes
- Blyde River Canyon / Three Rondavels
- Wonderview
- At least 1 of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, Lone Creek Falls (depends on the time of year and rainfall)

Enjoy lunch along the route at your own cost.

Drop-off in Johannesburg

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. This morning you can do an optional sunrise game drive or just enjoy a late breakfast and relax at the lodge.

Around midday, you depart for Johannesburg with comfort stops on the way. Drop-off at Johannesburg O.R Tambo Airport is around 5:30 pm.
