Beach Romance

Arrive in the morning at Durban International Airport, where you are met and transferred by road to Thonga Beach Lodge. The transfer takes about five hours as you travel along the coast. Should you arrive late, we can organize a pre-night stay in Durban, or you can fly with a private charter to Thonga Airstrip (at an additional cost). Arrive at Thonga, your romantic getaway for the next four nights. Discover one of the most pristine wilderness beaches on the azure shores of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, with blazing corals and freshwater lakes.

Daily guided activities are included (walks and snorkeling), or you can book some dives or turtle safari in season (additional price). Walk barefoot on finely crushed white beach sand and slide into warm turquoise Indian Ocean waters. You will also have time to relax at one of the pools, in a hammock, lazing in the lounge on the deck overlooking the ocean.

Included in your stay is a private dinner set up on the beach.

Game Viewing at Phinda Private Game Reserve

On your last day at Thonga, have breakfast and depart by road.

Transfer to Phinda Private Game Reserve, where you will spend three nights at Phinda Forest Lodge. Your stay includes meals, selected beverages, and two game drives per day. This honeymoon offer includes a 50% discount for one of the partners.

It is home to Africa’s Big Five and 436 bird species. Back at the lodge, your charming suite is built not far from a swampy marsh, which turns into a popular waterhole during the rainy season. Transfer to Durban International Airport

On your last morning in the bush, after breakfast, you are transferred by road back to Durban International Airport.

It takes about four hours, and we recommend your flight to your next destination depart late afternoon. It is also possible to fly from Phinda to Durban (at an additional cost).

Depart on your flight, or contact us to extend your trip. You could include a stay in the Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls, or Cape Town.
