Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
Rise up early for a game drive in this globally famous reserve known for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs. Mara is ranked amongst the world's finest wildlife sanctuary with well over 450 species of animals having been sighted in this marvel of nature. They are in turn relentlessly tracked by Africa's great predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs, making for some of the most amazing hunting scenarios witnessed in the wild.
You will then enjoy a visit to a Maasai village, an interesting experience. As you arrive at the village, excited children and adults welcome you with song and dance. At certain times, one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The village huts (called Manyatta) are made of cow dung and clay plastered over stick frames. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history and lifestyle of the Maasai.
