Game Viewing in the Mara North Conservancy

You will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta and be transferred by road to Wilson Airport. Depending on your time of arrival, you might need a pre-night in Nairobi.

You will arrive at the Mara airstrip, where you will be met by the lodge and transferred directly to Kicheche Mara Camp. You'll enjoy the camp facilities and lunch, check in, and experience your first game drive in the afternoon. You'll go back to the lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay. Bordering the Mara Reserve, Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a beautiful valley in a prime wildlife area. The tents are laid out alongside a seasonal stream from where you can observe the resident birdlife and plains game beyond. Game viewing frequently starts in the camp itself and there is prime wildlife habitat all around.

Your 3x night stay includes all your meals, 2 game drives per day, and a possible bush walk. Talk to your safari guide to plan your days.

Superb Wildlife Sightings in Olare Conservancy

After breakfast, you will be transferred through the bush and local villages to the camp, located within the Olare Conservancy.

The game viewing is first class and the exclusivity of the Conservancy ensures a high-quality African safari and Kenya holiday experience with low-density tourism. This is a great spot to visit during the Great Migration, usually between July and October, when the herds are typically crossing the area.

This intimate camp is owned in partnership with photographer Paul Goldstein. As a result, there is a keen focus on wildlife viewing and photography here, making this a popular camp that safari enthusiasts visit year after year.

Last Morning in the Bush

This is your last morning in the bush. You will transfer to the airstrip in time for the flight to Wilson.
On arrival, you will have a road transfer to Jomo Kenyatta in time for your onward flight. Or, you can contact us to extend your trip with a stay in Laikipia, Samburu, or on the coast for a few beach days.
