We will organize your transfer from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On arrival, you will check in at The Stables. The program organizers will conduct an Ol Pejeta overview and safety orientation, followed by an evening game drive to get your adventurous spirit up!
All meals for the day will be at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and your overnight stay at The Stables.

Getting Familiar with Ol Pejeta's Rich Wildlife Heritage
Wake up to an early-morning game drive followed by breakfast.
The highlight activities for the day include a visit to Ol Pejeta Nature Trail, the Rhino Cemetery, and an encounter with the Northern white rhinos. You'll get up close with Baraka the blind rhino, the resident ambassador for the conservation of the endangered black rhinos across Kenya.
You will also visit the Morani Information Centre, a treasure trove of conservation information in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Participate in the afternoon feeding session of the Northern white rhinos and Baraka.
Lunch, dinner, and your overnight stay will be at The Stables.

What it Takes to Keep the Endangered Animal Species Safe
You will spend the day with the anti-poaching teams, learning about their work and training with our tracker dogs, as you try and escape their pursuit across the conservancy.
Learn more about what it takes to keep endangered animals safe, and interact with this lovely team. At sunset, you will go on a night game drive with the anti-poaching team, a perfect opportunity to explore Ol Pejeta's wild nightlife as well as appreciate the behind-the-scenes efforts of conservationists to keep endangered animal species out of harm's way.

Hanging out with the Ecological Monitoring Team
After breakfast, you will indulge in fieldwork with the ecological monitoring department to learn about what it takes to manage a conservation area. Track and identify predators and assist with vegetation monitoring.
This offers a glimpse into the delicate nature of our ecosystems and insights into the important work played by conservationists.

Out in Nanyuki the Equator Town
On this day, you will go out to track the black rhinos in the rangelands. The rhino tracking activity is conducted on foot with armed guides lurking behind.
At midday, you will visit Nanyuki town which lies at the Equator. You will have time to grab some personal effects and replenish supplies at Nanyuki's Cedar Mall.

A Visit to the Mount Kenya Animal Orphanage
After breakfast, you will be driven to the nearby Mount Kenya Animal Orphanage, which breathes a lease of fresh life d animals, abandoned baby animals by rehabilitating them and later releasing them into their natural habitats or wildlife sanctuaries such as Olpejeta.
Later, return to Ol Pejeta for an evening of relaxation and overnight stay.

Sustainable Rangeland Management
After breakfast, you will be driven out to the rangelands for a guided walk in the grazing lands.
Walk with the herders and learn how Ol Pejeta integrates cattle with wildlife and how livestock contribute to the management of the rangeland's sustainability. This activity conducted on foot gives you an opportunity to explore the little ecosystems often missed on a game drive, yet play a critical role in the cycle of life.
Spend half a day grazing cattle on the plains with the herders.
In the afternoon, work with the ecological monitoring department in the office, gaining insights into the role of data-driven conservation experiences.

Sustainable Tourism Services
After breakfast, the day's activities feature assisting the tourism services in the field operations.
Later, you will work with the Logistics department to understand and know the challenges they combat to prevent human-wildlife conflict, one of the most critical aspects of protecting our wildlife and ensuring sustainable tourism.

Community Development
On this day, you will interact with community development department staff gaining insights into how Ol Pejeta Conservancy works with communities. At the centre of averting human-wildlife conflict is working with host communities to identify key areas of intervention.

Data Collection Techniques for Sustainable Wildlife Conservation
After breakfast, you will spend the day out in the field with wildlife and ecological monitoring unit collecting and interpreting data for research purposes. Data collection is a critical aspect of the wildlife conservation efforts and goes a great way in enhancing sustainable balance among the delicate small ecosystems that form the Ol pejeta conservancy togethor.

Working with the Ecological Monitoring Unit
On this day, you will work with the ecological monitoring unit.
Highlight of activities include: visiting wildlife migratory corridors, spoor identification, servicing infrared cameras, and taking part in tracking and monitoring lions at the Ol Pejeta conservancy.
The ecological monitoring team carries out critical data collection work using advanced scientific methods to help in making the right decisions for conservation programs inside the conservancy.

Visit Mount Kenya Animal Orphanage
After breakfast, drive to Mount Kenya Animal Orphanage, a safe space for animals dedicated to the rehabilitation and safe reintegration of injured, orphaned, or endangered baby animals. The orphanage plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing conservation work.
You will have a picnic lunch here. Later, return to Ol Pejeta for dinner and an overnight stay.

Visit Ngare Ndare Indigenous Forest
After breakfast, we'll visit Ngare Ndare Forest; A lush indigenous forest at the foothills of Mt. Kenya.
Among the activities that one can engage in includes; Tree Canopy walk, bird watching, forest walk, and a swimming in the azure pools at the bottom of the breathtaking waterfalls. Have a picnic lunch surrounded by some of nature's best scenes.
In the evening, return to Ol Pejeta for dinner and overnight stay at the Stables.
