Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve
On the second day of your safari, check out from Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge after breakfast and enjoy a road trip exploring the Great Rift Valley. Make a quick stop at Narok Town for a last-minute shopping and a bathroom break. Next, head to Masai Mara National Reserve and check in at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. You will have time to enjoy lunch, relax, and then head out for an afternoon game drive in the wild Masai Mara National Reserve.
All members of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) are sighted all year round. Blue wildebeest, topi, plains zebra and Thomson's gazelle migrate into and occupy the Mara, from the Serengeti plains to the south and Loita Plains in the pastoral ranches to the north-east from July to October (migration period). The game drive will end around 6:00pm, and we will head to the lodge for dinner and a night's rest.

Masai Mara National Reserve
On the third day, start with an early breakfast and head to the jungle to look for wildlife and the elusive Big Five of the Masai Mara. Masai Mara is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, leopards, gazelles, hyenas, and different bird species. You should have covered a lot of ground by the time the sun gets hot, which will be the ideal time to enjoy lunch at the lodge, jump into the pool and cool yourself down.
An afternoon game is ideal for climaxing your game drive across the expansive reserve. Return to the lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night. Other activities in which one can engage while at Masai Mara are swimming, gym, pool games, bush breakfast (extra charge), alcohol and soft drinks (extra charge), balloon safaris (extra charge), and a Masai village visit.
