This 4-day safari begins at the airport or your hotel early in the morning or pre-arranged departure time. A brief by your driver guide takes you to your safari pop-up roof minivan en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a 3-hour road trip from Nairobi to Nakuru City. You should arrive in time for lunch and check-in at Ziwa Bush Lodge and get some time to relax at the lodge.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. A game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, and picnics as you enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats ranging from Lake Nakuru to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Return to the lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge.

Day 2

On the second day of the safari, after breakfast, proceed to check out and depart on a road trip exploring the Great Rift Valley up to Narok Town for a last-minute shopping and bathroom break. Then head to Masai Mara and check in. You will have time to take lunch, relax, and head out for an afternoon game drive in the wild Masai Mara National Reserve.

All members of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino) are found here all year round. Blue wildebeest, topi, plains zebra and Thomson's gazelle migrate into and occupy the Mara reserve, from the Serengeti plains to the south and Loita Plains in the pastoral ranches to the northeast.

The afternoon game drive will end around 6:30pm before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the third day, we shall be on a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara National Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the world. It hosts the highest and most diverse concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the Big Five and more of the lesser game.

Other activities and facilities at the lodge in which one can engage are a bush breakfast/lunch/dinner (extra charges), alcohol and soft drinks (extra charges), hot air balloon ride (extra charges), and sundowner (extra charges), among others.

On the fourth day, enjoy your breakfast before the road trip to Nairobi starts. We will have a lunch break in Narok Town (self-sponsored). The approximate arrival time in Nairobi is 4:00pm. We will drop you off at the airport, home, or hotel.

This marks the end of your 4-day safari extravaganza of magical Kenya.
