Day 1

Embarking from Arusha, our safari will commence as your designated guide retrieves you from your prearranged hotel. From there, we will venture towards Tarangire National Park, engaging in an enthralling game drive. Subsequently, your guide will identify the ideal location within the park, where you will indulge in a delightful picnic lunch. Concluding the game drive, we will then make our way to Karatu for a delectable dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park gets its name from the Tarangire River, which is the sole source of water for the wildlife during the dry season. The park is renowned for its abundant population of elephants, striking baobab trees, and African pythons that climb trees.

After enjoying a satisfying breakfast, we will gather our lunch boxes and set off on an exciting game drive towards the northern part of Serengeti National Park. This area is well-known for its incredible event called the great wildebeest migration. Our adventure will take us through the captivating regions of Bologonja and the Mara River, where we will have the incredible opportunity to witness this mesmerizing spectacle.

From July to September, the northern Serengeti becomes a remarkable stage for a breathtaking show. During this time, thousands of wildebeest and zebra bravely face strong currents and encounter mighty Nile crocodiles as they try to cross the river. Their challenging journey is motivated by their need to reach the lush lands of the Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will gather our lunch boxes and begin an exciting game drive in the northern part of Serengeti National Park. Our experienced driver guide will do their best to find the perfect spot for you to witness the incredible great wildebeest migration.

Once the game drive is over and we have had an exhilarating wildlife experience, we will make our way to the renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, a delightful dinner awaits us, followed by a peaceful overnight stay in the midst of this extraordinary natural sanctuary.

From July to September, the northern Serengeti becomes a battleground where thousands of wildebeest and zebra face the daunting challenges of strong currents and massive Nile crocodiles. Their brave mission is to cross the river and reach the other side, heading towards the famous Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya.
