Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit.
The Tarangire National Park is particularly worth seeing in the dry season, as the Tarangire River attracts animals from the neighboring regions in droves. In addition to the large herds of elephant, impala and kudu, can also lions, hyenas and cheetahs be observed here.

Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park with its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab-strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs provide incredible ecological variety in a small area, as well as a plethora of wildlife and birds.
Lake Manyara’s alkaline soda is home to a diverse range of bird life that thrives in its brackish waters. Thousands of pink flamingos stoop and graze on colorful specks against the lake’s grey minerals. Herons flap their wings against the sun-drenched sky, and yellow-billed storks swoop and corkscrew on thermal winds rising up from the escarpment. Even the most averse bird watchers will find something to admire in the national park.
Another reason to visit this park is to see the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara. During the rainy season, they live in the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias, which are the only species of their kind on the planet.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
A jewel is the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. With a diameter of about 20 km, a depth of 600 meters and an area of 300 square kilometers, the Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. It is one of Africa's most famous attractions and boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the continent. The Ngorongoro Crater, sometimes referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area was established, among other things, to protect the environment for the Maasai people who were displaced from the Serengeti Plain. They are essentially nomadic peoples who build makeshift villages in the form of circular farmsteads called bomas. Some of these have now been made accessible to tourists and can be visited.

Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa
The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania was established in 1952. It is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth—the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and birds is also impressive.
The park can be divided into 3 sections. The popular southern/central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “serengit”, the land of endless plains. It’s a classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife. The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River and has more forests and dense bush. The north, the Lobo area, which meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, is the least visited section.
