Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is globally renowned as one of the best wildlife reserves, unmatched for its stunning natural beauty and ecological importance, boasting the highest concentration of plains game in Africa.
Established in 1952, Serengeti is home to the world’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacle—the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. In addition, a game drive through the park offers sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and an impressive variety of bird species.
The park is divided into three main sections. The southern and central parts, known for the famous Seronera Valley, are called "Serengit" by the Maasai, meaning "land of endless plains." This area features classic savannah with acacia trees and abundant wildlife. The western corridor, defined by the Grumeti River, has denser forests and bush, while the northern Lobo region, bordering Kenya’s Maasai Mara Reserve, is the least visited, offering a more secluded experience.

Lake Manyara National Park, with its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab-strewn cliffs, and incredible ecological variety, offers a rich diversity of wildlife and bird species in a relatively small area.
The park’s alkaline soda lake is home to a wide range of birdlife that thrives in its brackish waters. Herons flap their wings against the sun-drenched sky, and yellow-billed storks swoop and corkscrew on thermal winds rising from the escarpment. Even those who are not avid birdwatchers will find something to admire in this unique setting.
Another highlight of the park is the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara. During the rainy season, these lions can be seen lounging in ancient mahogany and acacia trees, a rare behavior that makes them a fascinating sight.
