2 travelers on Start dateNairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport for a departure to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, then stop for lunch in Narok. Mara's tawny, wildlife-stuffed savannahs are familiar to anyone who has watched nature documentaries. Reliable rains and plentiful vegetation underpin this extraordinary ecosystem and the millions of herbivores it supports.
Wildebeests, zebras, impalas, elephants, Maasai giraffes and several species of gazelles all call the Mara home. This vast concentration of game accounts for high predator numbers, including cheetahs and leopards and a high lion density. You will search for the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
