Kigali - Kamembe - Nyungwe

05h00: Pick up from your hotel/residence and transfer to Kigali International Airport for your schedule Rwanda Air schedule transfer to Kamembe, departing at 07h50.
Land by 08h30, met our driver guide and set off for Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel.
Arrive and check in, followed by a light breakfast. Mid-morning at leisure. Early lunch.
At 13h00, transfer to the Nyungwe National park headquarters for Canopy walk briefing that starts at 14h00.
The Mystical, Magical Nyungwe National Park is the second largest in Rwanda, covering 1,019 km2 of dense Afromontane forests, bamboo-covered slopes, grasslands and wetlands. It is home to over 400 bird species, over 15 primate species including the Chimpanzee. It has some of the oldest and tallest trees. It has many trails that are used for guided walks, the tallest canopy walk way within East Africa and a water fall.
The guided walk will take place at 15h00.
Return to the hotel in the evening. Leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Nyungwe - Kigali (7 hour transfer)

Today at 05h00 you will get your packed breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trek briefing and formalities and then to the evergreen forest for a great experience that starts at 06h00.
The dense canopy of trees that dominate Nyungwe Forest is home to around 500 chimpanzees, which live in troops of varying sizes. Of these, two are habituated to visitors – although they are not quite as relaxed as the mountain gorillas. The larger troop, with around 60 individuals, inhabits the main forest, where the terrain is relatively rugged.
You may spot a wide variety of bird life.
Return to the hotel at around 10h00. Have breakfast and check out. Set off for Kigali by road. You will stop for lunch en route at Mantis Kivu Marina Bay resort. Continue drive and arrive in Kigali in the evening. Drop off at the hotel.
