Tarangire National Park
Today after a delicious breakfast you will be picked up by your guide to Tarangire National Park spans nearly 3000 square kilometers and is renowned for its abundant elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which meanders through its terrain.
Tarangire truly dazzles, especially during the dry season (from June to November), when wildlife congregations rival those of the Serengeti.
This is because vast herds of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River, their sole source of water. With its diverse ecosystems and the perennial flow of the Tarangire River, the park is home to more than 2000 elephants and boasts a staggering 500 species of birds. This will mark the end of your tour, then you will be back to Arusha.
