After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or the airport and head straight to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometres in size. Most visitors come here with one aim alone—to witness millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and eland on a mass trek to quench their thirst for water and to eat fresh grass. During this tremendous cyclical movement, these ungulates move around the Masai Mara/Serengeti ecosystem in a seasonal pattern defined by rainfall and grass nutrients.
Lunch will be offered on the vehicle during the safari. By late afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge to rest, dine and cherish the most remarkable moments of the safari so far.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you will start the game drive immediately after breakfast. After check-out from the lodge, you head straight into the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a game drive en route.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera and is indeed the flagship tourist attraction of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is home to an extensive range of animals, including the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse its plains during their annual migration.

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park in the Manyara Region. The park's name originates from the Tarangire River, which flows throughout the park.
Ranking as the 6th largest national park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometres, it is most famous for its large elephant herds. It is usually very dry, in fact, drier than the Serengeti. However, its vegetation is much greener, with lots of grass, vast areas with mixed acacia woodlands and some of the wonderful ribbons of the aquatic forest. Also, remember the giant baobab trees that can live up to 600 years, storing between 300 and 900 litres of water.
In the afternoon you will break for lunch. After lunch, the game drive continues until you start driving back to your accommodation in Arusha or head to the airport, where the safari ends.
