Masai Mara National Reserve Escapade
After breakfast, you'll have a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the Great Migration when in season— July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. You can take part in a hot air balloon Safari and a Maasai village visit at an extra cost which is quite thrilling and wonderful. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.
