2-Day Rwanda Gorilla and Golden Monkey Trekking

Pickup and transfer for Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, at around 5am Rwanda time, you will be picked up by our company representative who will be your driver guide who will drive you to Kinigi and upon arrival, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi, for a briefing about the does and don’ts of the tracking activity and later be assigned rangers in different groups and embark on tracking the gorillas. Once gorillas are sighted, you will spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousins and after embark on your return from the park and proceed to your lodge. After lunch later in the afternoon you will go for a cultural trail of the Ibyiwacu people and their culture before you embark on your return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer back to Kigali

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for yet another briefing about the does and don’ts when tracking the golden monkey after which proceed for the experience. You will spend an hour watch and studying their behavior once you sight them and embark on your transfer back to Kigali with lunch en-route and be dropped off at the airport for your flight to your next destination or at your hotel in Kigali depending on your program.
