3-Day Rwanda to Uganda Gorilla Tracking Safari

Pickup from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the airport or from the hotel where you spent your night. After breakfast, a representative from our company who will be your driver will pick you up and brief you about your trip. Afterward, you'll get into your safari vehicle and embark on your transfer to Uganda crossing the Rwanda - Uganda border of Katuna. Passing through the lush countryside dotted with hills that have qualified Rwanda as a land of a thousand hills. You will later arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in the afternoon and check in to your lodge, relax, or freshen up. Later in the evening, you'll go for the Batwa Cultural Trail going through their villages to experience how they go about their daily routine activities. You'll be amazed by the way they skillfully cultivate the hillsides and how they care for their animals. You will later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

On this day, you will be up early for an early morning breakfast, and with your packed lunch, check out of your lodge. You'll head to the park offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during the gorilla tracking experience in the forest. You will later head out in different groups into the park to search for these gentle giants. This search is unpredictable on how long it can take to find the gorillas but upon sight of these gentle giants, you will be allowed an hour with them before you embark on your way back to meet your driver guide upon completion of this track. You will later embark on your transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival later in the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Tour and Transfer back to Kigali

After an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and embark on your tour of the lake having a boat ride to tour different islands in the lake. Later, you will embark on your transfer back to Rwanda crossing the Uganda – Rwanda border of Katuna into Rwanda with lunch en route. You'll be dropped off in Kigali for your flight or be dropped off at your hotel in Kigali.
