Full-Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park

Your adventure begins from your hotel, where our experienced driver will pick you up and transport you to Zanzibar Airport. From there, you'll catch a flight to Mtemere Airstrip, your gateway to Nyerere National Park.

Prepare for a full day of captivating game drives in Nyerere National Park, where a plethora of tourist attractions awaits. This vast wilderness boasts a diverse range of African treasures, including wildlife, birds, rivers, lakes, and more. Keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and a myriad of other captivating creatures.

As the day unfolds, you'll enjoy a hearty packed lunch and some well-deserved relaxation. Then, the adventure continues with more game drives, taking you into the enchanting African wilderness until the sun sets. Finally, you'll be escorted to your lodge or camp for a delightful dinner, a peaceful night's sleep, and anticipation for the adventures that await on the morrow.

Bush Walk Safari, Village Tour and Sunset Boat Safari

You will wake up early for tea or coffee, then depart for guided bush walks, an exciting chance to get close to nature and the best way to learn the details of the African bush. Walking along the firmed trail through the African bushes on foot brings about a new way of appreciating the natural environment.

You will return for breakfast. Later you'll leave for an eye-opening cultural village tour for approximately 2 hours then you will head back to the lodge for your delicious hot lunch. You will depart for a sunset boat safari along the great Rufiji River. The boat safari is a superb way to explore, watch the wildlife come to the water’s edge to drink, and get close to bird colonies, hippos, and crocodiles.

After the boat safari, you’ll be transferred back to the lodge for a beautiful and luscious dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive & Visit to The Hot springs & Departure

After a full breakfast, you will drive into the vast Nyerere National Park to explore the diverse wildlife and undisturbed nature for a full day. Countless elephants and buffaloes, pride of lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas are quite common. Selous is also famous for having many African wild dogs compared to any other national park in Tanzania

On this game drive, our guide will take you to Chemka Hot spring where there is a spring with hot water and you can have some enjoyment by swimming in the spring. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch break from a safe vantage point while taking in the beautiful scenery and keeping an eye out for wildlife in their natural habitat. Later at around 3:00 p.m., you’ll begin your drive back to Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. After you arrive in Zanzibar our driver will pick you up from the airport and drop you off at your hotel.
