Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

You will have an early morning pick-up from your hotel within Nairobi or at the airport and depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch and check-in. Later, you will head out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park may be smaller than many other Kenyan parks, but it packs a lot into a very small space. For starters, the views here are astonishing because Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m), looms over the park to the south. Best of all, the mountain provides a backdrop to many fantastic wildlife sightings that almost always include elephants with big tusks, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeest, and gazelles. Birders can also look for the park's 420 different recorded species. Later, you will have an en-route drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park-Nairobi

You will enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the lodge then set out for an en-route drive with an optional visit to the Maasai Village, for a chance to learn the culture and history of the local community and their way of life as you are treated to a traditional dance. Later, you will proceed with the drive as you join the Nairobi-Mombasa highway arriving late in the afternoon with an optional dinner at Carnivore Restaurant. Later, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport.
