Day 1

On this day, you will either be picked up from the airport upon arrival or from your hotel after breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is found in the southwestern part of the country. With your lunch en route, you will have a stopover at the Uganda Equator where you will be able to stand in 2 hemispheres that being the North and Southern at the same time as you take photos. You'll later continue with the journey arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, you'll check-in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, you'll head to the park offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during the tracking experience. After heading into the park with your ranger guide in search of these gentle giants. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable how long you will track them before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome, and exciting adventure that will leave you with long-lasting memories of a truly unique experience. Later, you'll return and embark on your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving late evening and checking in to your accommodation.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive where you get a chance to see the tree-climbing lions lounging in the tree branches while keeping a close eye on herds of Uganda kobs, their favorite prey. You will see more animals including elephants, buffalos, and warthogs. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will take a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals including hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks, especially the famous shoebill, pelican, and Jacana.

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth. Then, you'll embark on the transfer to Kibale National Park. You'll check in at your lodge for some rest in the evening and go for the nature walks at Bigodi Swamp where you will do birding. There you will spot some bird species, butterflies are abundant, and some women's cultural group activities which are also adventurous. Afterward, you'll get back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking Experience and Transfer back to Entebbe

After an early morning breakfast, you'll head to the park offices for the briefing about the dos and don’ts during the chimpanzee tracking. Later, you'll set off to search for these shy individuals in the forest. The exercise takes half a day and along the way, you will see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-colobus, and many more swinging in the branches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will come to your lodge to freshen up before transferring you to Entebbe and being dropped off at your hotel.
