Pickup from Kigali - Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by a representative from our company who will be your driver guide. You'll embark on your transfer to Nyungwe forest with a stopover to visit the Kigali Genocide Museum. You'll have lunch en route and proceed to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk in Nyungwe National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the park offices for the briefing about the dos and don’ts during the tracking of the primates. Afterward, you'll proceed into the tropical rain forest searching for the shy chimpanzees in the tree branches. While on this walk, expect to spot other primates like the white and black Colobus, Vervet monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys, and manageably. More birds can be spotted too in the Nyungwe National Park. You will be allowed to spend an hour with these chimpanzees once sighted. Then, you'll return to your lodge for lunch. In the evening, you'll take the canopy walk looking for more primates, birds, and the clear of the green canopy cover. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Depart Nyungwe Forest - Transfer back Kigali

After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on your transfer back to Kigali with your lunch en route and a stopover to visit the ancient King’s Palace at Nyanza. Later, you'll proceed to Kigali dropping you off at the airport or your hotel depending on your program.
