Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve- Appx 280km: 5-6hrs drive

You will start the safari journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve, which has been named the 7th Wonder of the World, due to the spectacular great migration (July to September). Here over one million wildebeests and more than one hundred thousand zebras cross the Mara River coming from the Serengeti in search of water and greener pastures.

The drive is via the central highlands of Kenya with views of local community settlements, with brief stops at the viewpoints to marvel at the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon which is in Asia to Mozambique in Southeast Africa. It’s a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 6,800 kilometers in total length, and much of it is found in Kenya, where it has literally cut the country in two.

You'll arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch. Later, you'll proceed for an afternoon game-viewing drive.
In the evening, get back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
