The Ngorongoro Crater, often hailed as the "Eighth Natural Wonder of the World," stands as the Earth's largest intact crater. Approximately 2 million years ago, a volcanic eruption shaped this natural enclosure, encircled by towering walls reaching heights of up to 600 meters. Today, spanning more than 19 kilometers in width, the crater showcases a diverse terrain, encompassing vast acacia forests, hippo-filled wetlands, and extensive grasslands.
