Arusha to Tarangire National Park

On the first day of the safari, you’ll depart from Arusha early in the morning for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a thrilling game drive in the park, renowned for its large elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and striking baobab trees. You’ll also spot lions, zebras, and various bird species. After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing, you'll break for a delicious lunch at a picnic spot within the park.

Post-lunch, continue your exploration, discovering more of Tarangire's unique landscapes and abundant wildlife. As the day winds down, head to Mto wa Mbu village for an overnight stay at Ngedere Lodge and Camps. On the second day, after a hearty breakfast at Ngedere Lodge or Camp, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Ngorongoro National Park. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive. The fertile floor of the crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and endangered black rhinos.

After a thrilling morning of wildlife viewing, you’ll break for a delicious lunch at a picnic site within the crater. The stunning surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. Following lunch, continue exploring the crater’s diverse landscapes, spotting more wildlife in this rich ecosystem.

In the late afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, reflecting on the unforgettable adventure through Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Arrive in Arusha with amazing memories of the wildlife, landscapes, and experiences from the safari.
