Day 1

You will rise in the early morning, have breakfast and meet your safari guide who will pick you from the Airport, brief you about your journey and then set off. You will have a first stopover at the Equator at Kayabwe where you will take pictures and then head to Mbarara for lunch, after lunch you will proceed with the journey arrive in the park in the late evening, check-in the lodge accommodation, relax, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
On this day, you will wake up in the early morning to go for a game drive when the animals are still very active and this will be at Kasenyi peninsula normally known as the mating ground. This is where you will find herds of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, kobs, and you spot some lions and leopards. You will enjoy different scenic view points, return to the lodge for breakfast, relax, have lunch and in the evening go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel which connects two lakes Gorge and Edward. You will have the magical view of the waters, animals like elephants and buffaloes that come to drink and cool their thirst. You will spot different birds for example egrets, water ducks, geese, plovers, gonoleks, kingfishers and eagles. You will cruise through schools of hippopotamus and crocodiles, later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha sector

You will wake up in the morning, have your delicious breakfast, check-out of the lodge and head to Bwindi via Ishasha where you will be spotting tree climbing lions and this is the only park in Uganda where you will ever meet these lion. You will arrive at the park headquarters in afternoon hours, check-in the lodge, you will relax, have lunch and wait for dinner.

Day 4

Arise in the morning, grab a cup of tea/coffee and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing and allocation of the gorilla family to track. You will be led by a ranger guide, who will take you through the off-beaten paths till you reach the gorillas, you will spend an hour with them, take pictures and videos and then later head back to the lodge. In the evening you will engage into cultural tour by visiting the pygmies who will entertain you, dance for you, they will also take you through their stories while they were still in the forests. You retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Transfer to Kampala and departure
Transfer to Kampala and departure
Arise in the morning, have a delicious breakfast and check-out of the lodge and head to Entebbe. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and proceed with the journey to Kampala/Entebbe. Your driver guide will either drop you at the hotel or at the Airport thus marking the end of your safari.
