Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our driver and an office representative will meet you. After customs procedures, depart Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive for lunch at the camp or lodge. Later, you will have an afternoon game drive to spot some of the unique animals of the park and see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. You will spend 2 nights here, exploring Amboseli National Park with your driver.

The Amboseli National Park stands out mainly for its elephant terrain and, of course, for the presence of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Although many more animals will be seen, as in all parks, what is most striking is the high presence of elephants.

After breakfast, depart from Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp and, later, have an afternoon game drive. For 3 nights, you will explore this famous reserve.

No park in Kenya sees as many animals as the Masai Mara. A flourishing ecosystem that hosts all of Africa’s Big Five, the reserve is an exciting mix of wildlife, savannah, rolling hills, and iconic acacia trees. Suppose you are here during the annual wildebeest migration (July—October), you will see the influx of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River on their yearly survival cycle.

Take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village or take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah. Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.
