Drive to Murchison Falls National Park and rhinos
Start the drive to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park. This park is one of Uganda’s largest conservation areas and boasts 76 mammal species and 451 bird species that thrive in the open savannah and tropical forests. You will have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the southern white rhinos. While here, you participate in walking safari to the rhinos. After lunch, continue to the park and proceed to your lodge. Enjoy an evening game drive in the park.

Game drive and launch cruise on the falls
After an early breakfast, proceed to enjoy a game drive. Drive in the open African savanna in search of lion, leopard, hyena, buffalo, elephant, Jackson's hartebeest, oribi, waterbuck, and Uganda kob, and enjoy spotting various bird species. This is a beautiful drive across the savannah, borassus palm forest, and grassland down to Lake Albert. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy these spectacular falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap. Thereafter, drive back to the lodge.

Drive to Kibale National Park
Drive to Kibale National Park by passing tea plantations along the way. This diverse forest boasts of 13 species of primates such as the Red colobus, grey checked mangabey and Red tailed monkeys, and Rare L’Hoest monkey as well as over 335 bird species with some rare and endemic to the Albertine region and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation.

Chimpanzee trekking and bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are closest to human beings and are great to watch being playful both on the ground and in the trees. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland where you will have a chance to see different primates and bird species, especially the Great Blue turaco popular in this area while getting to know the communities nearby and their projects.

Kasenda lakes visit and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today, you will drive via kasenda crater lakes and continue to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is one of Uganda's most popular with scenic game drives with a wide variety of wild animals and over 600 bird species incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna to wetlands and lowland forest. Have a game drive in the park.

Game Drive and Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel
Have an early morning game drive. There are over 100 mammal species including lion, hippo, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, elephant, and the elusive giant forest hog in this park. You will also visit the salt lakes in Katwe before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This channel connects Lakes; George and Edward. Here, you will have a chance to see different animals coming to the water, as well as a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive after the boat ride in the park.

Tree-climbing lions and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will have an en-route visit to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, the Ishasha sector. This area is known for its resident tree-climbing lions which are an exceptional attraction in the park. You will have a brief game drive in search of them before driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Proceed to the lodge for check-in. You will go to bed earlier this evening so that you are well-rested for a thrilling experience of gorilla trekking the next day.

Gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. The trekking can entail climbing and hiking but once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family in close proximity for an hour. Thereafter, drive to Lake Mutanda.

Day to Relax
You will have a full day laid back and relaxing by the lake shores with views from the Virunga mountains as you get ready for the next days activities. At leisure, you can have a boat ride on this beautiful lake and the many activities that are provided by the Lodge.

Optional Second Gorilla trekking or Golden Monkey Trekking
Today, you have chance to visit Mgahinga National Park where you have a chance to have a second Gorilla trekking ($700 per person )or choose the Golden Monkey trekking ($100 per person ). For the Golden Monkeys, you receive a briefing from the ranger guide who will share information on what to expect while in the Virunga volcanoes searching for the golden monkeys. After this short brief, you will start your hike up in search of the golden monkeys. Golden monkeys are swift in their movements unlike the gorillas and you will follow them as they feed. They love feeding on bamboo shoots among other foods like fruits, vegetation and sometimes ants. You are only allowed to spend 1 hour with the golden monkeys before you start your descent back to the starting point and continue the journey to your lodge.

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Today, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest of the Ugandan national parks. As you enter the park, you will enjoy a game drive in search of animals like impala, zebra, eland, and many other antelope. Proceed to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Morning nature walk and departure
Early in the morning, participate in a guided nature walk where you will see giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and many more. Later, drive back to Entebbe International Airport and connect with your onward evening flight back home.
