Early in the morning after breakfast you will join your group and get ready for our departure. Driving from Arusha to the Serengeti will take approximately 5-6 hours. You will enjoy a game drive en route and make an optional top at the Olduvai Gorge to marvel at its archeological finds. After lunch you will go on a game drive in search of the “Big Five.” Elephants, buffalos, and lions can be seen here. Leopards are nocturnal and therefore rarely seen. The same goes for the black rhino, whose numbers have been extremely reduced due to heavy poaching. Later in the evening you’ll go to the Seronera campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.
