Exploring Samburu National Reserve's Hidden Treasure
Set on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River and neighboring the Buffalo Springs National Park, Samburu National Reserve is characterized by a spectacular landscape of rugged hills, undulating plains, and riverine forests.
The park is home to abundant wildlife, including various rare species such as the reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, the Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, and the Beisa oryx. You can also enjoy spotting over 900 elephants, various predators, and over 450 bird species.
The ancient culture of the Samburu people is still alive here, and visitors can see two unique customs firsthand. In the first, you'll watch as herds of cattle respond to each man’s voice as they call. In the second, you'll see the relatives perform incredible dances that go back hundreds of years.
On the second evening, you'll savor a sundowner as you watch the magical sunset from Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Game Drives in the Majestic Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you'll fly from Samburu Game Reserve to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, the camp manager will welcome you to the Soroi Luxury Migration Camp, your base for the next two days. You'll enjoy the camp's amenities and prepare to delve into the wonders of the Mara.
The Masai Mara and Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife area. The image of acacia trees dotting endless grass plains epitomizes Africa and what an African safari must feel like.
The pinnacle of the Masai Mara National Reserve is the awe-inspiring annual wildebeest migration, a majestic spectacle that spans the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. This is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet — with over a million animals following the life-giving rains. In addition, the reserve is home to a magnificent pride of lions, herds of majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, swift gazelles, and the regal eland, all waiting to be discovered.
