Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Start the day early with breakfast and set off for Serengeti, enjoying game viewing en route. Serengeti is undoubtedly one of the world's most renowned wildlife sanctuaries, celebrated for its natural beauty and scientific significance. It boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa.

One of the park's most iconic phenomena is the Great Wildebeest Migration. Every October and November, over a million wildebeests and about 200,000 zebras journey south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains. Then, after the long rains in April, May, and June, they swirl west and north. Their ancient instinct to move is so strong that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can deter them. Serengeti is the epicenter of this legendary migration.

The park offers endless plains and awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets. You'll enjoy a packed lunch at a picnic site, and in the late afternoon, you'll drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
