Today, the driver-guide will pick you up from Arusha and hold a quick briefing before we depart for the Lake Manyara National Park entrance gate. Upon arrival at the gate, we will patiently wait for the permit formalities and registrations to be issued.
Once the permits are sorted, get ready to explore Lake Manyara National Park. The park is small but very scenic, with the spectacular alkaline Lake Manyara as its centerpiece. It boasts diverse fauna and flora, including forests, wetlands, grassy plains, and acacia forests. During a circuit drive through the park, you will see diverse animals and numerous birds, such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, waterbucks, impalas, warthogs, zebras, klipspringers, Kirk’s dik-diks, and baboons. The shallow hippo pool offers excellent opportunities for hippo sightings, and you will have a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Get up early on day two of your adventurous safari, sit back, and enjoy the journey. The road winds over the Great Rift Valley, through the crater forest, and ends at your final destination—the striking Ngorongoro Crater. The mix of forests, valleys, savannahs, craters, lakes, and swamps is home to a wide range of animals. This collapsed volcano is one of Tanzania's most visited destinations, and it is certainly not hard to see why. One of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to Africa's highest concentration of wildlife. It is brimming with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the rare black rhino. Lunch will be served at the picnic site. In the late afternoon, return to the camp for an evening of leisure, dinner, and overnight stay.

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Today, we will depart for a game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is a quiet and beautiful park in northern Tanzania. It is well-known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants that gather near the primary water source, the Tarangire River. Besides elephants, the park is also home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, buffaloes, and many other predators and ungulates. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy the park, as there are more than 550 bird species to spot, including brightly colored yellow-necked spurfowls, white-crowned shrikes, and black-necked weavers. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha.
