A tour of Materuni Village and Waterfalls is a good way to spend a day away from the bustle of Arusha town life. The walk to Materuni Waterfall offers a glimpse into the nature of Tanzania while giving you a bit of a work-out to prepare your body for the forthcoming adventure safari
The tour starts in the coffee plantations of the local Chagga community, where the villagers will demonstrate some of the processes involved in coffee farming and handling and give you a chance to participate in preparing the coffee beans and making your own coffee.
The following walk to Materuni Waterfalls is an opportunity to see how local fruit, including avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow, as well as learn some of the local history and traditions. A swim in the waters of the fall and lunch amidst the beauties of African nature conclude the tour.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour
You will start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a Conservation Area, not a national park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive to Ngorongoro, you'll have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, you will drive around the rim of the Crater itself. From here you can look down and see the herd of wildebeests or buffalos. Finally, you'll descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see here is giraffes, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steep sides of the crater.

Lake Manyara National Park
Today, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. In the late afternoon, you'll make a short journey from the park to your permanent tented camp.
