In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport by our company representative who will be your driver-guide. You'll transfer to Uganda with a stop at the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site which commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide. After the tour of the museum, you will be driven to the Uganda and Rwanda border of Cyanika/Katuna. You will traverse the lush countryside dotted with undulating hills that have qualified Rwanda as a land of a thousand hills. You will arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon and check in at your lodge.
After lunch at the lodge (in case you didn't have it along the way), you will visit the Batwa community and learn about their livelihood before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and head to the park offices. You will be briefed by the rangers before you begin the search for giant gorillas in the thick Bwindi Forest. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas. However, it is unpredictable how long you will trek before finding them, since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent tracking down these gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and observing these gentle giants is a rare, moving, awesome, and exciting adventure that will leave you with long-lasting memories of a truly unique experience. Once seen, you will spend an hour with them before you return to reunite with your driver-guide. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will arrive in the late evening and check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in the park, where you will see the tree-climbing lions lounging in the tree branches while keeping a close eye on herds of Uganda kobs, their favourite prey. You can spot tree-climbing lions and other animals like elephants, buffalos, and many more. Later, you will have lunch, and in the afternoon, you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga Channel. At close range, you will see water animals bathing on the channel banks, including hippos, buffalos, crocodiles and elephants. There are also various bird species on the water banks, especially the famous shoebill, pelican and jacana.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kalinzu Forest and Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast at your lodge, head to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a briefing of the rules for trekking the chimpanzees after which you set off to search for the them in the forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but also informative. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will be allowed some time with them to study their behaviour and lifestyle. Later, you will return to meet your guide who will transfer you to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator with an en-route lunch. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, depending on your program.
