Johannesburg to Masango Camp

You will be picked up from Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport and taken to Masango Lodge in the Motlala Game Reserve near Hoedspruit where you will check in at your chalet by 14h00. After some time to rest and enjoy the facilities, you will depart at around 15h00 for an afternoon and sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle. You will get the opportunity for some exciting sights, including the African sunset, before returning to camp at around 19h00 for a delicious meal and a peaceful night around a boma fire under the stars.

Kruger National Park

You will get up early for your full-day safaris into Kruger National Park.

Your days may proceed in one of two ways. The first option comprises an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return. With the other option, you first have breakfast at the lodge, and a later departure and return.

The exact departure times of the different options will be communicated to you the night before as guides will decide on an option according to animal activity at the time. Your full-day safari will last 7 to 8 hours, so you should be back at the camp with enough time to relax before dinner under the stars (with a complimentary glass of wine).

Masango Camp to Johannesburg

After breakfast, it is time for good-byes and your return to Johannesburg. You should arrive back at OR Tambo International Airport around 17:00 or 18:00.
