Lake Manyara National Park is a wildlife viewing destination located southwest of Arusha and the northern part of Tanzania. This small but scenic park covers an area of only 330 square kilometers (127 square miles), of which up to 200 square kilometers (77 square miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even the legendary tree-climbing lions! Activities such as canoeing, bird watching, and photography are offered along this lake as tourists explore the national park. Bird species include black-faced sand grouse, long-tailed fiscal, flamingos, pelicans, and many others, as seen in Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy your lunch box inside the park.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will take your lunch boxes, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend the crater, and enjoy the game drive.
The crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” and is also considered the eighth Natural Wonder of the World. A visit to this amazing place is the main draw for tourists coming to Tanzania, and it is undoubtedly a world-class attraction. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. However, other wildlife includes zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingoes on the soda lake, geese, storks, and vultures.

Tarangire National Park - Back to Arusha
After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing.
The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only water source for wildlife in the region during the Dry season. The park is home to diverse vegetation; unlike others in the Northern safari circuit. Tarangire National Park has a large wildlife concentration, including the largest species of Africa's animals and hundreds of bird species. Apart from game viewing, the park is also the best for bird watching. However, tourists can engage in cultural visits and nature walks. Enjoy your lunch box inside the park. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha for your departure or to your lodge, where we will drop you off.
