Airport/Hotel Pick Up | Travel To Mkomazi National Park

On your arrival in Tanzania in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it either at Julius Nyerere International Airport or at your hotel in Dar es salaam, and be transferred to Mkomazi National Park

This is the moment you've been waiting for and therefore, your Tanzanian safari starts here. You have so much to look forward to and we'll get your trip underway as soon as we give you an introduction to our team and explain what lies ahead.

The journey will take about 6-7 hours. You will be enjoying different views of Tanzania's landscape including the Usambara and Pare Mountains. Hot lunch will be provided at the restaurant in Mombo.

Arrive in your accommodation and rest after the long drive.

Full Day Game Drive In Mkomazi National Park

After breakfast drive we'll go for a full day of game viewing taking a packed lunch to maximize our time. Most of the animals that you will see are endangered species, particularly the black rhino and wild dog along with several bird species.

After an exciting day wildlife viewing we'll drive back to the camp in the evening Spending more time in Mkomazi allows you to enjoy the quiet, away from busier safari trails elsewhere in East Africa.

The Last Day With Us | Transfer To Airport

On this last day, we will wake up for an early morning game drive to enjoy Mkomazi before the sun is out and drive back to the campsite for breakfast and preparations before departing for Dar es salaam where you will arrive late evening and drop you off at the hotel or airport.

All good things must come to an end and this is the moment when your safari with us draws to a close. We're sorry to see you go, but you'll leave us not as a guest but as a friend and with so many amazing safari memories to take with you. We hope to see you again.
